BEWABOX Tunnel Fermenter
Enclosed reinforced-concrete tunnel fermenter for aerobic fermentation and biological stabilization of MSW fines, biowaste, sewage sludge and other biodegradable waste streams.

Main Advantages
Enclosed reinforced-concrete tunnel fermenter for aerobic fermentation and biological stabilization of MSW fines, biowaste, sewage sludge and other biodegradable waste streams.
No In-Reactor Turning
Biological stabilization without mechanical turning inside the reactor, reducing operational complexity and internal material handling.
Protected Floor Aeration
Proprietary floor-channel system designed to keep air outlets open, distribute air evenly and allow easy inspection and cleaning.
Scalable Configuration
Multiple tunnel boxes can be installed side by side to match the required site capacity.
Technology Description
BEWABOX is an enclosure intended for biowaste pretreatment and composting. By means of a proprietary aeration system, the material is aerated homogeneously from below. The material can also be dried very effectively with the system.
The tunnel fermenter can be equipped with various technical systems such as a loading system, process monitoring and control system, exhaust air purification system, etc. With BEWABOX you can achieve the optimum results with minimum input.
Typical Applications
- Stabilization of MSW fines / municipal waste undersize fraction
